Lot Tracking That Traces Everything From the Second It Arrives At Your Door… To Delivery To Your Customer

Lot tracking and serial number tracking in SMARTer Manager is a thorough, paperless documentation of all the components used for each part produced, items carried in inventory, or materials received.

SMARTer Manager gives you “Cradle to Grave” tracking, following each part through its full life-cycle—from arrival at your facility, to delivery to your customer. It’s so detailed; you can track a customer shipment back to the raw material lot that was used to produce the finished part.

SMARTer Manager creates a lot record for each lot number, serial number, or grouping of parts. Then it automatically tracks each part as it flows through the shop. Any lot number or serial number can be traced back to the material used to produce the part—and to all customers that received the part.

With Multiple Entry Points (M.E.P.), conformance with government tracking requirements is easy. The system uses auto serialization upon shipping or receiving.  It records lot numbers of all purchased materials at time received. And it records serial numbers for components used within a BOM.

Lot numbers appear on appropriate inventory reports, such as on-hand by location. A printed or displayed report allows you to search by customer, part number, production order number and/or lot number to find each occurrence of a specific lot number or serial number.
